Kills Ticks But Not Fleas. This is the fourth collar we have used on our dog and they have been very effective against ticks. However, after two months with the latest collar our dog has had a flea outbreak and the collar seems ineffective, despite a full household spray treatment. Bayer (who make the product) simply deflected the blame back to us, suggesting everything but the collar is the cause.

Very good. I have used these on and off for a couple of years on my older dog. She was constantly scratching and nothing could be seen and I had used varous flea treatments. This collar works - all scratching stops when she wears it. I replace them when needed.

A 3rd of the price compared to my vet.. I have always used this flea control as it so effective. My two dogs walk in fields where animals have been so the probability of tic's is high, never had one!So much cheaper than my vet, and I did check. Excellent value for money, convenient and yes it works. The collar is in a sealed bag within a sealed tin. Recommend 1%.

Dog flea and tick collar. This works if used as it should good product

It works to a degree. My dog is on his second one of these and they work to a degree, I am still finding the odd flea on him around the base of his tail although I have to say that they are not jumping so I assume they are almost dead when I find them, however, the poor dog is still driven mad by itchiness around his tail because of being bitten, I am combing every day but they still keep appearing.

Safe or not?. Paid an arm and a leg for this collar for my terrier after a horrible summer of biting insects. Only afterward did I see all the adverse chatter about it in America. Left it on regardless because I'd paid such a lot for it, but after a couple of weeks with no improvement, I consulted a vet for a 'kill 'em all jab'.The first thing he did was cut off the collar without comment and chuck it in the bin. I was pretty annoyed seeing as he didn't ask me first and the damn thing was so expensive. I don't know if this was a comment by the vet on this brand of collar or he just thinks they're a waste of time. Who knows, we're just mere mortals who pay for their BMW's.
