The Exploding Kittens game works by a classic card-drawing mechanic. As the name suggests, there are exploding kittens in the deck of cards that, if you draw them, eliminate you from play.
However, other cards, such as Defuse cards or ways of distracting the kittens from exploding, can keep you in the game longer! Begin the game by simply putting the kitten-packed deck face down and taking turns to draw cards until someone gets an Exploding kitten card causing them to (you guessed it!) explode! If you pull an exploding card, you're dead and out of the game.
Simply carry on playing in this manner until there'sjust one lucky player left who's managed to avoid all the Exploding kitten cards - making them the well-deserved victor! Suitable for both couples and larger families, this card game is ideal for anywhere between two to five players and can even stretch to an impressive nine participants when paired with another deck.
