Silvye: Not as scary after using. Micro-needling is the method of puncturing small holes into the skin to help with liquid absorption into the skin. This unit looks like a large pen and has a good build quality.The unit allows you to adjust the depth of the needle with a dial build into the tip of the grip. There is a button to control the speed (how quickly the needles move forwards/backwards) which impacts absorption and faster speeds are recommend for specific areas.To start, after cleaning your face, you put a small amount of skin caase into the disposable cartridge (1 time use), adjust the needly depth and then choose the speed. Then you move the pen across your face either horizontally or vertically. The instructions advise using 'point pressure' which I take to mean lift the unit from your face before applying to the next area, however there are many videos where others move the pen across the face in a smooth motion with no adverse effects which is quicker. However, it is very easy to set up and you cannot go too deep with the needles unlike tattooing. These are not pain-free. However, I find that the pain is bearable. The thought process behind it is that it is skin healing and could potentially ease wrinkles. There are a number of different needle set ups, that you can purchase. I have only tried one treatment of this so I have not seen any solid results as yet. However I can say that regular treatment of this is possible and it's worth a try if getting rid of wrinkles and obtaining healthy skin means a lot to you.
