I'm always sceptical about these things but hey, I get to see if it's any good.Firstly it's well boxed and everything looks and feels very well made and has a good solid feel. I've let my sister try this (she's older and has more to gain). It does have it's associated pain but 'no pain, no gain'.Now here's the good thing, meeting up with my sister recently I had to compliment her on her tighter appearance skin and reduction of wrinkles. At first I joked that I'd like the name of the moisturiser she's using but there hasn't been a change. They said it has a lot of running time, and glides easily across skin - and any surface for that matter, really. It's not too difficult to understand, easy to hold for hours on end and does a professional job. What more do you need? Marlena: Non-existant instructions. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the term, 'All the gear but no idea' and that certainly applies to me with this Dr Pen. I've heard of micro-needling before and have always wanted to try it but never got round to booking in anywhere to have it done. When I spotted this, I was eager to give it a shot but in all honesty, had no idea how it all worked. So the box comes with the pen, 3 other attachments, and the charging plug and cable. There is a separate box containing ten, 16-pin cartridges. It all looks and feels of excellent quality, so I had no worries there.So, I reiterate, I am a complete newbie to this but was excited to try it out and was expecting a comprehensive manual giving me step-by-step instructions on how to use the pen and the correct procedure to use on the skin. Ren Views: I was scared to use it... but took the plunge!. I have heard a LOT about micro-needling and it being on trend at the moment to reduce the visible signs of aging. I was keen to give it a try, but when it arrived and I read the instructions I was really quite nervous about doing the procedure at home when you would normally expect to find this kind of treatment done in a Salon by a trained professional.Because of my concern, I started using it on my hand before moving onto my partner's face, just to see and feel how it worked. The key thing here is HYGIENE, you really do need to make sure the surface of the skin is cleaned properly with an alcohol wipe and then have a very steady hand when using the pen.I cautiously moved around her forehead and cheeks, and although she said it was a little uncomfortable it was manageable. So like my title suggests, I was, more than a little sceptical about this, it's fair to say whilst I understand, and accept, the principle of this, I didn't see how it would work as a “Home treatment”, then we used it.Ok so the pen itself, is very well made, the body is clearly machined to exacting tolerances, it's obvious to me by the way the screw thread feels when it is “Done up/Undone”, it is a very fine thread, and also “Glides” together, with absolutely “No” movement/rattle, even with just a half turn done up, so it is obviously very, very precise, which is great in a device of this type in my opinion. Nice quality dr Pen micro needle treatment ,It is great for acne scars and the small wrinkles !All you need to do is clean the face with alcohol , wear the gloves and apply with sterilised brush hyaluronic acid serum on the area you start with for example forehead , then add the needle and turn it on ,It will hurt but it is not that bad !You'll need to do it after 2 months again and will see the results about 4th time of using it !I am extremely happy with this dr pen !
