HOW TO USE?

[ TO POWER ON ] Hold the power button on the pen to power on (light will turn on) - make sure the batteries are charged before placing inside OR that the power cord is connected, using the power connector included. Click the power button to adjust speeds - 5 different speed levels for your comfort.

Cleanse and dry skin. Numbing cream can be applied topically if desired.

Adjust the pin length setting to the desired length. Pin lengths can be adjusted between 0.25 mm - 2.5 mm maximum

Using a new cartridge (each cartridge is wrapped separately in individual packages), apply slight pressure on desired area and move the tool around in circular motions evenly around the area(s).

Apply hydrating serum or moisturizer after use.

(Cartridges are ONE TIME USE, disposable and NOT permitted for use with others)

DO NOT USE: on open wounds, irritated or bothered skin. Discontinue use immediately if issues occur.

I have been microneedling for almost a year using a pen from another brand so my review is going to compare this to what's available on the market for home microneedling.The pen has a slight weight to it that makes it feel balanced and comfortable to control. The cartridges are simple enough to replace. Just be sure to use different cartridges for each treatment (and each person, if more than one person is using the same dermapen) to avoid infection and cross-contamination. Disinfecting the pen before and after every use with 7% alcohol is a must to avoid infection.Note that the needle depth here starts at .3 mm. It's usually best for beginners (especially if you're treating your own face) to start with nanoneedles between .1 - .25 mm deep, so if you're looking for a basic treatment to help with serums or creams and something that can be done several times a week, then that's the needle depth you want to look for.The .3 mm - 1. mm depth range here is s; 2024-06-03 00:03:50

The packaging looked fairly sleek and professional, and it includes 2 backup batteries, 1 cartridges and the option to use it with or without the cable which was a plus.For context I'm a 35-year-old woman with a few acne scars, I have previously undergone microneedling treatments at a salon and was pleased with the results so wanted to give this a go to see if I could achieve the same at home without having to pay per treatment.Using the tool for the first time, I found it slightly confusing to use, I had to do a bit of research to figure it out but once I got to grips with it I found it easy to handle and adjust.Results wise having used it a few times now I think I'm starting to see a positive change in my skin both in texture and firmness. The Smart Dog: Great Unit for Larger Areas. I already have another one of these systems from Dr. Pen but I ordered this one to cover larger areas on my body whereas I use the small tipped version on my face.Micro-needling is something that I have never really considered as the thought of having numerous needles constantly jabbing my skin isn't on my wish list, lol. However I have had tattoos many years ago so I decided that it can't be any worse than that and decided to give it a go.This Dr Pen kit is well made to a high standard with clean lines and no burrs from the moulding process. I found the pen comfortable to hold and use with the whole process not being as bad as I originally thought it would be. The Dr.pen A6 was well boxed and comes with everything you need to start your beauty process. I would strongly advise watching you-tube videos on how to best use this type of product. I watched several before starting on my own skin. There are a great number of really good short videos out there, and I found these very intuitive. The micro pen feels good in the hand and not too heavy. The unit has 5 speeds and an adjustable needle depth wheel for the best results. The tool was quite to use, and the vibration was minimal. The pen can be used wired or wirelessly, so portable if you need it to be. The instruction manual could be better, hence I advised watching a few videos. CD: Customisable charging options. At home derma pens are no joke. There's more that goes into them in terms of hygiene and up-keep also the correct skincare and prep. I highly recommend reading up on the process to have the best grasp of your skin type before going in.The pen itself is really cool. I have another that is rechargeable but this one is much more customisable. It comes ready with a smaller attachment that allows the pen to work while connected to a power source. In the box though you also get an attachment to recharge the 2 batteries it comes with so you're not permanently tethered to the cables but if you charge up these batteries you could use your pen anywhere in theory. The spare battery charger has a light on it to show you when it's done charging so it's not guesswork.The adjustment dial is very smooth with a slight resistance.
