Only if you are fairly tech savvy. The repurposed digital picture frame does actually function as a simple memory clock. However, I was also hoping to use it to display a written message and alert with an auditory alarm at set times for a senior (e.g., meals, an activity, or appointment).In order to do this, one must have an SD card, create the message and convert it to a graphic file. If one wishes to have an audible alarm, one must then find an .mp3 file, download it, then transfer it to the SD card and place it in the same file as one did with the .jpeg file. Name the file correctly - and then - and only then - will it display and play the alarm for 1 minute at a set time. Oh yes, one must use the buttons on the back of the frame to toggle through the menus.By the way, the documentation doesn't cover most of this. Long story short - it does work and it is pretty cool for use as a memory clock. However, it requires someone with a fair amount of technical savvy to get it to

Extremely useful for someone living at home.. The large display was really helpful and also useful as a memory jogger. As a present for someone who forgets the day and date by being at home most of the time, it has been a real bonus.

For my 85+ year old Grandmother.. My 85+ year old grandmother needed this to keep track of her days. She would fall asleep during the day, think it was the next day, and become confused. This has helped her with her day to day life.

All in working order. Was surprised how small the clock is my own fault didn't measure it but it has all the information needed day date time we are both pensioners and you just loose track if everything so we are very pleased

Good while it lasted. I bought this for my mother, who has dementia. It worked great for a year, then it just stopped working. It doesn't even light up now. The stand was a cheap piece of plastic that didn't last long either. It is a great clock…if it wouldn't croak after a year.

Large letters and numbers are easy to read.. I bought this for my 95 year old mother, who has vision problems. She reads the information on her new clock several times a day, and now she tells me the day, time and date!She loves her new clock!

It was great while it lasted. This was a great clock. I bought it for my grandmother, she gets confused on if it's morning or night time. Bought it for her 9th Birthday in September and today while I was trying to set the time up for daylight savings time for her it totally quit. Screen went black and nothing I do while make it come back on. She was disappointed. So this clock only lasted 6 months.

Screen does not last. Good product until it stopped working after 5 months (screen went white and product was unresponsive
