Nostalgic and easy to play. These days console screens are a lot bigger for handhelds but if you want to remember the old days and give your kids a taste of what you played with back then this is perfect.Battery life I wouldn't say is bad at all, it is way better than what I used to get out of my handheld in the 9s.The kids games built in are basic titles that are fun to play, you'll get a good few rounds out of them but I wouldn't call them the standards of modern video games so do take that into account as handheld gaming has come on a long way.If you are looking for nostalgia and a way to keep the kids occupied without the high end graphics then I say it does a really good job.

Awful. The games are all low effort reskins, it's funny for a bit but there's not much entertainment to be had in my opinion. The screen is also really hard to look at and doesn't seem clear from any angle, just really, really poor quality.

Ok for the money…. Not sure who would actually use this… the games are retro and therefore feel too basic for modern day youth. As an older person myself, i like the retro games but the screen is a little too small for me, and the colours a little washed out rather than vivid. I feel i should object to this on moral grounds also, as it has Super Mario… and i don't think this is officially licensed. However, it has Super Mario! Which probably justifies the price alone. I don't think it saves game progress. Not 5 games though as many appear on the list two or three times.

Handheld console. Cool little gadget with ample games to play on it. Has adjustable volume settings which are always welcome. Decent size screen too. Would definitely recommend it for any avid gamer. Some great games on there.

Old skool fun!. I was stupidly excited to get this old-school console ... it takes me back to my youth! It's quite nice to have a device to play games on that isn't your phone. There's a range of 5 games available on it - some I'd never heard of but there are some of the old faves there. It's brilliant!

Decent budget priced alternative. Rather flimsy though, I can't see it lasting too long.. This is very much a budget alternative to the various big brand hand held gaming machines, from the Gameboy onwards. It is cheaply built; the menu is clumsy; and the controls are not as responsive as on the original consoles. There are 5 titles listed, although it is a pain scrolling through all 5 to find the one you want. Some are not given their 'real' names, although many are, and although there are 5 titles, there are not 5 games. 'Track and Field' for example, was just one game on the Gameboy, but here, each level is split into a different game, and there is no progression between levels, or cumulative scoring. I'm sure there are many like that. In addition, many are listed multiple times, further reducing the number of actual 'games'.You obviously can't expect instructions for each game, but some basic instructions for the item itself would have been a boon. There may well be a better way, bu

Fun moments. This is a good device. The battery and build quality are good, it has a ok speaker and it is a good option to distract for some time.I didn't like the menu of 5 games doesn't give options to add favourite games or save progress. Every time I reset it asks for the language I want to access the game menu. The games are good range and they are fun.

A good dose of nostalgia!. I'm really impressed by this handheld games console that's reminiscent of the game boy I used to be totally obsessed with years ago.It claims to come with 5 games but there are some doubles. Even so, there is a huge amount of games on here. All retro games I used to play as a child - mario, pac-man, Tetris etc.It isn't anywhere near the kind of technology we use today but it's a great way to kill some time. It loads quickly and plays fine with no obvious issues. This device isn't going to wow you with graphics but that isn't what its meant for. It's great value and would make a fabulous gift to any gamers.Happy to recommend

Basic Retro Games Machine. I'm of the age where a lot of the games on this device had kids queuing for ages to get onto the arcade machines that played these. I probably spent my own weight in 1p coins on some of these. So, for a burst of nostalgia, this is quite entertaining. An inordinate amount of games to play. However, the controls are slightly fiddly for my large hands and the sound out of the built-in speaker is quite 'tinny', so becomes quite grating after a while. However, it is a bargain (£16.99 at the time of review) so worth getting for short bursts of nostalgia.
