I was very nervous at first took a bit of time looking in to how to use the pen properly but feel after doing 2 sessions a lot more confident now, just make sure you clean your face properly and use alcohol wipes, defo use numbing cream with clingfilm as you do feel it and it's not easy without it as I found out, I will continue to use the pen and hope to see results, I can already notice a small scar slightly going down so I'm hoping this pen will make a difference in a few more months, just make sure you don't overdo it as the redness no bleeding takes about 2 days before it goes down and dont use any make up until than.; 2024-05-20 23:02:33

Obada George: Fabulous device. I did a lot of research into this before purchase. I have already had two treatments of Morpheous 8, but at £6 a pop wasn't prepared to keep paying that amount however good the results.I have also had amazing results with a needle roller, so guessed this would be a good progression from there.I used numbing cream and antiseptic wipes before my first use of the Dr Pen M8, but a word of warning, be super careful around the eyes. I was a bit to keen and ended up with two red panda rings that lasted several days ( not a good look for my Birthday! ).Also, as another reviewer noted, the settings are tiny and really hard to read. I need to zoom in with my phone for this.You need about 48 hours for the redness to subside, and then there is some slight peeling after. shaz: Cartridges are disposable, make sure to clean the face completely before use.. It has excellent quality, it is very easy to use, before use, make sure to clean the facial skin completely, then perform microneedling, if the facial skin is not cleansed, the result of microneedling will be reversed and all the impurities on the skin will be taken into the pores, causing infection and darkening. It gets worse. Do not use any cosmetic creams or cosmetics for forty hours after microneedling. Do not wash your face after microneedling. If there is a lot of burning or redness, it is normal and only use an ice pack or cold water on the skin. Avoid smoking and drinking for forty-eight hours before and after. In sunny weather, be sure to use sunscreen after microneedling. Discard the used cartridges and use a new cartridge, use .2 for the forehead and under the eyes and use .75 to 1 at speed 5. I would rather call it a masterpiece of technology and engineering in dermatology.I've had problems with acne scars for the last couple of years. I tried different creams, serum, treatments which are really expensive. None worked in my case. However, Dr. Pen seem to solved 5% of my problem, after only one usage and one week time of waiting.My only advice would be to strictly follow the steps. Don't go deeper than you are supposed to (I used .5 for most of the face, 1. for cheeks and .25 for nose and beneath eyes, according to some tutorial).Also, buy in advance a numbing cream and apply it with cling film 3 minutes prior to the procedure, otherwise it will be quite painful. During the procedure, I used a peptide serum and a bio hyaluronic acid, quite an amount.Also, make sure you are wearing gloves, or you might get infected.Again, I 1% recommend this product. shaz: Amazing home microneedling set !. This is so easy to set up and use. The design is sleek and comes with extra needles and clear instructions. Can be charged up and used cable free or plugged in. There are different needle lengths and speed settings which can easily be changed. I found that any questions I had were easy to find via the companies website. Before I used this I cleaned my face and used medical alcohol rub on my skin and used the lowest settings. I found it comfortable to use ..a slight tingling where needles piercing skin but no pain. My skin afterwards had some red patches but mainly just pink. Following the treatment I used more alcohol rub to avoid any infections. The redness disappeared within a few hours and over the following days my skin looked fresher and started subtle peeling. I've been using both a gentle face scrub and exfoliating flannel to lift the peeling skin. My face looks fresher and more youthful already after just one use.
